Wendy Kunz serves as the Director of Veteran Programs for the International Franchise Association (IFA), where she leads VetFran, the IFA Foundation's program dedicated to helping Veterans and military spouses explore business ownership through franchising. She works closely with Veteran Service Organizations, franchise brands, industry suppliers, and the VetFran Committee to expand education, partnerships, and opportunities that empower America's military community to achieve the American Dream through franchise ownership.

A former multi-unit Sylvan Learning franchise owner for nearly 20 years, Wendy understands firsthand the rewards and challenges of small business ownership. Before joining the IFA, she served as Chief Operating Officer of TheHappyMD, where she partnered with healthcare executives and physician leaders across the country to improve workplace culture and reduce physician burnout.

Wendy lives in Texas with her husband, Matt, and their two sons. She is passionate about connecting Veterans with the resources, mentorship, and support they need to build successful businesses and lasting legacies through franchising.
